Horoscopic Vision. (ज्योतिषीयदृष्टिः)
Meet this day.
Let it begin.
You know its name,
but they are not twins.
Monday, Tuesday,
you have met,
but how many
Andys and Sandys
are exactly the same?
Don’t let the name
fool you again.
Walk out today
and let it play.
Allow the now
to trickle somehow
through the stained-glass window
of what you know,
adjusting to the ever-present glow,
the elusive light we call the soul.
Its “elusivity” and proclivity
to escape our sight
says more about one who sees
than about the One that’s seen.
Libraries of books and magazines
have been written in between,
pointing to what has “allways” been.
And so it may help to see
a so-called day,
this so-called dream,
as a new name
that differently means
what all that flows
can be as seen.
“I will call it ‘Thisday,’”
holding the congealing illusion
to at least give it
some freshness,
circumventing allusions
to the supposedly known,
perspectival clones
that come with our names,
naming as same.
Today is “Thisday,”
said I in my mind,
and my mind said back:
“You are naming the lack
of your original knack
to rebel against
what is already That.”
Sometimes a mind is just That.
I am currently engaged,
enthralled by This.
Happy “Thisday,” my dear Lectorscribes.

I love the idea of “Thisday.” Such a gentle reminder that no day is truly a repeat, no matter the name we give it. Thank you for this fresh perspective.
Happy Thisday!! 🫡
